GDPR

KnoDesk is built to help you meet your obligations under the EU and UK GDPR.

Last updated 15 October 2026

1. Roles

For the personal data you process through KnoDesk, you are the data controller and KnoDesk is your data processor. For our own account and website data, we are the controller.

2. Data processing agreement

We offer a data processing agreement covering our obligations as processor, including confidentiality, security and sub-processor controls. Request one by email.

3. Consent capture

KnoDesk can collect and record consent from your customers in chat and forms, so you have a record of when and how it was given.

4. Data subject requests

You can search, export and delete a customer's conversation history, bookings and CRM record from the dashboard to answer access and erasure requests.

5. Data residency

Data residency options are available on request for customers who need their data stored in a specific region.

6. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the EU or UK, we rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Breach notification

We will notify affected customers without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach, with the information you need to meet your own reporting duties.
